Project6 Design Inc. Takes Home the Gold With Its Website Design for the National Sleep Foundation
The award-winning design firm was honored with the highest distinction—Excellence in nonprofit web design—at the 2019 Communicator Awards.
Project6 was the recipient of four awards, including the competition’s highest honor, the Award of Excellence, for its work on the National Sleep Foundation’s site redesign within the Nonprofit Web Design category. This distinction places Project6 in an echelon of web design that includes ESPN Films, Forbes Media, PepsiCo, WWE, and other industry leaders, all of whom were also awarded this honor.
“It’s been tremendously exciting to see Project6’s name highlighted among such iconic companies,” says Project6 Co-Founder and President Esten Sesto. “Receiving the Communicator Awards’ highest level of recognition is just one more way we’re distinguishing ourselves as world-class web developers. We’re committed to always delivering the best website design, but when working with a nonprofit like the National Sleep Foundation, the work feels even more important—because we understand the tangible effect this site will have on the public. Sleep is fundamental to all of us, and the education that the National Sleep Foundation provides is unmatched.”
In addition to receiving the Award of Excellence, Project6 also took home Awards of Distinction for its work with Sleep.org within the Nonprofit category, the UCSF Brain Tumor Center within the Education category, and Jemstep within the Financial Services category.
This marks the 7th year that Project6 has been honored with recognition from the Communicator Awards. With the addition of these recent honors, Project6 now has received 86+ total awards for excellence in website design and development during the company’s lifetime “We are extremely proud to recognize the work received in the 25th Annual Communicator Awards. This class of entries we received this season embody the ever-evolving marketing and communications industry,” noted Derek Howard, director of the AIVA. He added, “On behalf of the Academy, I’d like to applaud the entrants this season for their dedication to producing outstanding content as they continue to push the envelope of creativity.”
